Another event space in our JoburgPlaces Porfolio of Places is Easy East at 91 Frere. Here we can stage an extraordinary event for you, providing services from venue booking and setup, to catering, bar, décor, entertainment, sound and more.

The venue comprises two separate spaces, linked by an outdoor courtyard. The Prop House is a historic, tin, wood and brick industrial warehouse, filled to the brim with movie and stage décor. With its long linear spaces and white-washed wooden trusses, it is the perfect venue for a wedding ceremony, or an exquisite long-table dinner.

The Valley Rooftop is an incredible indoor-outdoor venue with views of the city skyline, as well as the green hills of Observatory and Kensington. The perfect space for a wedding reception, or a rooftop party of note.

The Prop House is a spectacular warehouse, perfect for wedding ceremonies and long table dinners.

Apart from the Prop House’s central spine – perfect for a chapel setup, there are two side wings for mingling and exploring.

The Valley Rooftop boasts an indoor room with spectacular city skyline views. It can accommodate up to 100 guests at table seating comfortably.

The Valley Rooftop also has a spectacular outdoor entertainment area, perfect for a rooftop party, reception or dinner.

CATERING, BAR AND EVENT SERVICES:
JoburgPlaces provides full catering and bar services for all events. We can also provide all other event services from décor and flowers to arranging entertainment.

CANEPE MENUS:
For larger functions (150 and more guests), we recommend a canape menu, served cocktail style.

LITE CANAPE MENU:
Ideally served as a harvest table from which guests help themselves. Can also be served on trays by waiters. The following menu at R225 per person is for 25 guests but can be adapted for any number of guests.

Welcome bread with sauce (one slice per guest)
Feta & Olive spinach wraps, served in individual tiny cups with tzatziki
(one cup per guest)
Chicken samoosas and vegetable samoosas served in mini platters
(36 samoosas in total)
Sweet potato chips (six standard bowls)

We offer a choice of FEAST menus. All our food is served in bowls n the centre of the table with side plates for guests to dish up their preferred combinations. This way everyone gets to enjoy a wider array of flavours, while all dietary requirements are catered for too. A true feast it is!
